Family Syllabus: A high-profile family in Beverly Hills is looking for a career nanny and family assistant to help care for their three children, two between the ages of 6-10 and a teenage daughter who lives with the family part-time as well as grandparents who live near them who will need some support. The nanny will be responsible for transporting the children to and from activities and being a helpful role model. Reliability, a positive outlook, and open-mindedness will be required for this position. Both parents work from home on occasion, and this is a fully-staffed household. Please love puppies and be open to feeding and walking this ball of energy! The family also has a lizard and the kids will be responsible for feeding the lizard with your supervision.
Ideal Candidate:Their ideal candidate has experience caring for children as well as being an elderly companion. Their dream employee clearly communicates, prioritizes safety, has extensive experience transporting children, is active, and is a total team player! Nannies who possess an attitude of gratitude and who truly enjoy helping children with homework and develop academically will thrive in this role! Candidates will need to assist with homework, accentuate the day with fun crafts and activities, and find extracurricular classes in the area that interest the children. These lively children love to swim and play outdoors, so nannies who are energetic, comfortable swimming, and love spending their day in the sunshine are encouraged to apply. The family would love occasional support facilitating virtual physical therapy and respiratory therapy appointments for the grandparents. A college degree and high-profile experience is required.
Job Synopsis: The family travels often for work, so a nanny who has experience organizing and packing/unpacking items for travel and aiding the children when the family is away would be great. Weekly tasks will include children’s laundry, transporting the children to activities, organizing playrooms and bedrooms, grocery shopping and ordering as needed, preparing healthy meals for the children and occasionally the parents, ordering supplies, bath and bedtime routine, and all things child-related. The family is also requesting support for the grandparents as needed such as running errands, cooking, and taking them to doctor’s appointments. The schedule for this position will be Friday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Flexibility will be key, as you might be asked to stay later or work overnight if the family travels or the other nanny is sick. The hourly rate for this position is $30-$45 an hour gross with 10 paid vacation days, paid sick days, and health insurance.
