Family Syllabus: This sweet family in Hollywood Hills is looking for a full-time nanny for their 2-year-old son! They are also expecting a baby girl later this summer, so please have experience with toddlers and infants! Mom is super hands-on and will be spending most of the time with their baby and so will their NCS. Most of the care will be for their son, but the nanny must be capable and confident caring for two. The toddler will be attending preschool for half a day twice per week beginning in the fall. These parents describe themselves as quiet, and they occasionally work from inside the home. They also have a housekeeper, a darling French bulldog, and a curious cat that will require no care from the nanny. Please be an animal lover without allergies.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is calm, kind, well-versed in infant and toddler dynamics and milestones, playful, and adventurous. A nanny who is fun and proactive and can bring kind but firm boundaries to their toddler’s life while remaining patient is important. Someone who loves to assist with laundry and tidying up play areas during downtime would be the perfect candidate. If you are a great cook who follows recipes, and making spinach muffins is on your list of ways to help a child eat their veggies, you may be this family’s perfect fit! The ideal candidate will be well-versed with toddlers and understand how to engage and speak with them. Bonus if you can help with potty training. They are seeking a nanny to be an extension of mom and dad who will grow with their family!
Job Synopsis: Duties for this position will include laundry, tidying up the house after play and meal times, and keeping the children’s rooms organized. Creating fun activities, staying active in the sunshine, and keeping up with their toddler will be part of the daily routine! This family would also love a nanny open to helping with family errands like grocery shopping. The schedule for this position is flexible to be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8/9 am-6 pm and Fridays with a start time between 10 am-12 pm until 8 pm or 4 days per week for 10-hour shifts between 8 am and 8 pm. This family will guarantee 40 hours per week and the nanny will not have to work Mondays. This role is paying $30-40/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a $200 monthly health insurance stipend. Overnights and travel will not be required. A college degree is not required for this position. The family would prefer the nanny to have their own vehicle to transport children to activities.
Vaccination Requirements: This family’s preference is a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated and boosted, but they are open to nannies who aren’t vaccinated or maybe just had their initial COVID vaccine.
