Family Syllabus: This wonderful family of three in Pacific Palisades is looking for an experienced career nanny for their daughter! She is 8 months old, eating solids, and full of adorable baby energy. This little sweetie is starting to stand and loves going for walks and learning words! The family also has six playful dogs who won’t require care from the nanny. The family has a housekeeper as well as a household manager. The parents work from inside the home, and they enjoy traveling. Please be a true team player who understands the dynamics of a fully-staffed household.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is bilingual in Spanish and English, but not required, and has the availability to travel. A nanny who has experience with newborns, infants, and toddlers will excel in this role as they are looking to grow their family. Nannies who understand RIE or Montessori based education or willing to learn would fit in perfectly with this family. Understanding big emotions and feelings while being nurturing, warm, kind, and caring would be ideal. Someone punctual and organized with knowledge of baby sign language would also be a plus! A college degree is not required for this role. The nanny must be able to commit to at least 2 years and be passport ready! Please be mindful of this family’s wishes for no cell phone use during working hours or wearing fragrance/perfumes/scents when coming to work.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days caring for this sweet baby girl and witnessing all of her precious milestones. You will support the family by keeping her areas clean and tidy, making sure baby laundry is completed and organized, sanitizing toys, and preparing snacks and meals. The schedule for this position is generally Monday-Friday, 7:30/8 am – 4:30-5 pm with flexibility and availability for some overnights and weekends. They are offering paid vacation, sick time, and holidays plus a medical stipend. This role is paying $30-35/hour gross with overtime and a salary of $85-100k based on experience. Please be ready to adventure with this amazing family for up to a month at a time. A nanny vehicle will be provided.
