Family Syllabus: This active family in Santa Monica is looking for a wonderful nanny and family assistant to be an extension of the parents! The family has two sweet, funny, independent, and extremely verbal girls who are 5 and 4 years old and they attend preschool during the day! They also have a precious mini-labradoodle.
Ideal Candidate: The family’s perfect fit nanny will have a helpful, team spirit, and a proactive attitude. A nanny who will communicate and be consistent with the girls and family, providing trust and respect is of the utmost importance. A nanny who will follow instructions well, is flexible and dynamic, and thrives with non-traditional schedules would be a dream. Someone who is health conscious and will encourage excitement around an active lifestyle would fit right in with this family perfectly! Mom does most of the cooking and would like a nanny who is flexible with helping in the kitchen. A nanny who can swim and is comfortable taking kids into the pool is also important.
Job Synopsis: Responsibilities for this position include helping the mom and family with various duties including tidying and organizing the common areas, engaging the children with age-appropriate play-based activities and arts and crafts, children’s laundry, running family errands and grocery shopping, and occasional help with their sweet fur-baby. Most care for the dog will be handled by the parents unless they are traveling or away. The schedule for this position is flexible for the right candidate, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekend hours are required, with at least one long, 10-hour day and one regular 8-hour day. The general schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday from 10-6 or Wednesday-Sunday from 10-6. The pay for this position is $50/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, a health stipend, and a bonus. Overnights will only be required during travel, which will be for 1-2 weeks per year. A nanny vehicle is provided.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is open to COVID-vaccinated and unvaccinated candidates. A Flu vaccine is also required.

Five years of professional nanny experience
