Family Syllabus: This wonderful family in Calabasas with two children is looking for the perfect match as a live-in nanny! Their darling 4-year-old son has some emerging sensory behaviors and will need a nanny who is patient. He loves to do art and science activities, playing and kicking balls, cars, and trains and likes to be outdoors. He has a speech therapist as well to support his development. The family has an almost 3-year-old daughter who loves to play dress up and she is outgoing. This little girly girl loves to dance and she has a fun sense of humor. The children attend a nearby school and both take Karate during the week. The parents work from inside the home and they also have a housekeeper and a chef who comes once per week. They have three small dogs who all live happily in the backyard and may only require feeding from the nanny.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is mature, honest, loving, and kind. Candidates who are committed to growing with this family long-term and are punctual and reliable would fit in perfectly with this caring family. A nanny with experience with sensory-seeking habits, and the ever-changing nature of preschool milestones would be the perfect fit! Please have a clean, reliable vehicle to transport the children. The family is truly looking for a nanny who is always thinking one step ahead. A nanny who is proactive and does not think any job is too small. The family has a pool and the nanny will need to be able to swim and be water safe. The nanny will have her own private bedroom and bathroom. A candidate who can speak Tagalog would be a huge bonus!
Job Synopsis: The main focus of this role is keeping the children’s spaces tidy and clean and spending quality time with these sweet children! This home is very clean and mom loves having things in order. Assisting with the children’s laundry, including bedding and basic meal prep, and any cleanup afterward such as sweeping floors and wiping things down would be amazing when the kids make a fun mess. Occasionally running family errands and helping keep track of anything the kids need would be ideal. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 11 am-7 pm with a guarantee of 40 hours. This role is paying $35/hour gross with paid vacation, holidays, and sick days. Overnights and travel will be required domestically and they are hopeful that someone can also travel internationally! A college degree is not required for this position.
