WHO SAID UNICORNS WEREN’T REAL?
Family Assistants bring magic into your home, performing miracles you didn’t think were possible. Welcome to the world of Family Assistants! Busy parents tend to delegate more tasks to Family Assistants so they can spend quality time with their children. Family Assistants are helpers for both the children and the family! These multi-tasking Mary Poppins support the parents with keeping the home running smoothly:
- Grocery shopping and errand-running.
- Scheduling activities.
- Dog walking.
- Light household duties.
- Caring for children.
- Driving children to and from activities and school.
- Holiday decorating and mailing out cards.
- Birthday planning.
- Packing for vacations.
- And more!
What Kind of Help Should We Find You?
Personal Assistants give you administrative support, run errands and take on some domestic tasks, working within your personal and family space.
Executive Assistants tend to have more of a business background and can assist you on business related tasks, working in your home, office or remotely.
A hybrid position that is part-nanny and part-assistant, supporting the entire family and running errands. Typically there is no other staff in the home.
A household manager is someone who will manage your entire household staff and all of the vendors, in addition to performing some of the same tasks an executive assistant would.
“ALL OF THE ABOVE AND MORE!”
“I gave Ryan a near impossible list of wishes: Speaking exclusively to our kids in Spanish; ability to help with homework through high school; willingness to travel internationally and tutor the kids while doing so; a person who takes initiative, is creative, kind, organized and one who sets and enforces boundaries. A person who would be discreet, trustworthy, and think fast on their feet. I also added that it would be great if they could take on PA/research jobs. Ryan went to work. Bianca is all of the above and more and, may I add, trilingual! She has traveled with us to Africa and Paris and speaks exclusively in Spanish with the kids. When virtual schooling started, Bianca helped the kids via Zoom. Bianca is organized (and loves to do big house organizing projects), diligent, and resourceful. Our family has benefitted tremendously from having her in our lives. Thank you Ryan for bringing her to us.”
