Family Syllabus: This down to earth family of four in West Village, New York is looking for an exceptional rotational nanny to help care for their sweet 16-month-old daughter. Their daughter attends gym class and music class weekly. They have a 7-year-old son who has his own team of nannies. They have housekeepers, a chef, and other household staff members. They are seeking a nanny who can model proper manners for their children while still enjoying a creative, fun, and adventure-filled day in a fast paced environment.
Ideal Candidate: The family’s dream nanny has years of experience caring for toddlers and will love to learn and educate themselves on child development. A nanny who is flexible to travel domestically and internationally, is poised, savvy, flexible, and emotionally intelligent. They would love a nanny that is ready to be active and loving with their inquisitive daughter! A nanny who can utilize gentle parenting techniques to support their little one and be an extension of mom and dad while they are away. Experience working in a fully-staffed home is preferred. A nanny who knows how to read a room and knows when to step in and out and be a true team player. Someone kind, excellent at communication, and well-informed would be perfect for this role.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days engaging and playing with the sweetest 16-month-old. Tidying up the children’s play areas, working with the chef to prepare the children’s meals, and keeping up with their daughter’s laundry will be required. The schedule for this position is rotational for 2 weeks on and off at a time with 24/7 shifts during the rotation. This role will be live-in on rotation except when the family is in the Hamptons. Separate accommodations will always be provided when they are in the Hamptons. The pay for this role is $125k-$145k based on experience. A $500 health insurance stipend is provided. Traveling will be required, so be ready to adventure with this amazing team! Overnights are expected and you must be a safe and reliable driver. They will be providing a nanny vehicle.
