Family Syllabus: This sweet family of three in Hancock Park, California is looking for a part-time nanny to help care for their daughter. Mom works from home and dad works in the evenings. Dad has been the primary caregiver during the day and is ready to bring on a part-time nanny to help care for their growing daughter. Their daughter is a sweet and inquisitive little girl with a large vocabulary. She is cruising all over the house and is very close to walking on her own. Please be comfortable with cats as they have a sweet cat that usually hides when new people enter the house.
Ideal Candidate: The perfect fit for this family is nurturing, gentle, and has an understanding in RIE and Dr. Becky’s gentle parenting. They would love a nanny to narrate to their daughter throughout the day. The family is looking for an active nanny that will be ready to take walks to explore with their daughter at a nearby park. They are a screen free family and have been doing baby signs with their daughter. If you are a nanny who knows baby signs, that would be a plus! Mom and dad are looking for a nanny who can partner with them when it comes to caring for their daughter.
Job Synopsis: This sweet family would love a long term nanny to help care for their daughter and keep her on track with age appropriate milestones. Duties related to this position will include walking their daughter to a nearby park to play and explore, preparing age appropriate activities for their child, cleaning the child’s play areas, taking care of the child’s laundry, and light meal prep. The schedule for this position is Wednesday and Friday 8 am-5 pm, with flexibility to occasionally work one night from 6pm-11pm so mom and dad can go on a date. This role is paying $40/hour gross.
