Family Syllabus: This wonderful family of four located in Northern California is looking for a local rockstar nanny to join their family! They have a 5-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. Their daughter attends school nearby from 8 am-3:30 pm. Both parents work inside of the home. The family has a household manager and housekeepers who will handle all the deep cleaning but would love for the nanny to tidy up after their children throughout the day. They also have a small dog so please be comfortable with dogs!
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is educated, experienced, proactive, creative, and engaging. If you are musically talented that would be a huge bonus! Be ready to spend your day with their adorable 1-year-old son while their daughter is at school. Your afternoons will consist of picking their daughter up from school, taking their children to after school activities, and helping their daughter with school projects and homework. A nanny who is comfortable and well-versed in the developmental stages of childhood, gets down on the ground to play, uses gentle parenting, and truly has a passion for children is the ideal match. Please be a great swimmer and comfortable swimming with the children as they have a pool at their home. The perfect nanny will be with the family for the long term! The nanny will be a great communicator and will work as a team with the parents.
Job Synopsis: Duties related but not limited to this position will include cleaning the children’s play areas, taking care of the children’s laundry, taking their daughter to and from school, taking the children to their after school activities, creating age appropriate activities for both children, and providing a safe a nurturing environment for the children to thrive in. This is a live-out position, they are open to live-in for the right fit. The schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday 7 am – 7 pm with occasional weekends. The rate for this role is $45+/hour gross plus overtime with benefits such as a health insurance stipend, paid time off, holidays, and sick days. Please be open to occasional overnights and travel if the family needs. A nanny vehicle will be provided for this position.
