Family Syllabus: A sweet family in Canyon Country is looking for a full-time nanny for their 3-year-old twin grandsons! The boys attend a school nearby from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. Both boys are in speech therapy and one of the twins is currently in OT. This family enjoys flying their airplane, attending classic car shows, going boating, and visiting their vacation home in Arizona. Grandpa works outside of the home and Grandma is a stay-at-home Mimi! She would love a nanny to work alongside her to help raise her energetic grandsons.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is kind, nurturing, bubbly with the boys, gentle, experienced with growing preschoolers and all their exciting milestones, and is ready to be active and loving with these inquisitive children! Their dream candidate is someone who has wonderful manners to role model for the twins. A nanny who has experience working with children with speech delays, behavioral challenges, and potty training would be a huge plus. They require a nanny with a clean driving record as they will be driving the twins to their activities. They would love a nanny who is engaging and helping the development of their two adorable boys! Grandma loves candidates who focus on the twins and stay professional! A nanny who is comfortable swimming with the children is a must! Please be comfortable traveling in a small airplane as this family has their own plane that they travel in often.
Job Synopsis: The main focus of this role is keeping the children’s spaces tidy and clean and spending quality time with these sweet boys! Assisting with the children’s laundry, including bedding and basic meal prep, and any cleanup afterward such as sweeping floors and wiping things down would be amazing when the kids make a fun mess. Occasionally running family errands and helping keep track of anything the kids need would be ideal. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday 10:45 am – 7:45 PM with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, with a guarantee of 40 hours per week. This role is paying $35/hour gross with a medical stipend, paid vacation, holidays, and sick days. Overnights and travel will be required!! A college degree is not required for this position.
