Family Syllabus: These sweet new first-time parents are looking for an educated newborn care specialist to care for their baby girl starting in late July 2025. Both parents work from inside of the home. The family has two indoor cats, please be comfortable with feline companions.
Ideal Candidate: This wonderful family is eagerly seeking an exceptional and experienced Newborn Care Specialist with expertise in safe sleep practices and sleep conditioning. It is essential that this NCS can fully support the new parents and guide them. The role also requires meticulous tracking of feedings, sleep patterns, diaper changes, and any behavior changes, with clear and consistent communication provided to the parents. The ideal candidate will incorporate developmentally appropriate educational activities and stimulation, such as infant massage, fostering parent-baby bonding activities, tummy time, singing songs, visual tracking exercises, and consistent narration. They are looking for an educated, mature, responsible, tidy, and emotionally intelligent professional. The ideal candidate will be a true baby expert who can seamlessly step in to assist with their newborn and provide invaluable support, particularly with sleep and feeding. Local candidates to the Los Angeles area are preferred.
Job Synopsis: Duties related to this position include educating the parents, as well as tracking feedings, sleep, diapers and behavior changes and communicating clearly with the parents. Duties will also include baby laundry, sanitizing bottles, and keeping the baby’s sleeping area clean and tidy. The schedule for this position will be 5 days per week 7 pm until 7 am. The rate for this role is $50-60/hour depending on experience. This position will be 4-6 months in length. They would like a NCS who is flexible with them as to what schedule will work best for them.
Roll Call: This wonderful position starts July 2025 and will last 4-6 months.
Qualifications:
Five years of professional newborn care experience
Certified Newborn Care Specialist
Local to Los Angeles
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent verifiable references
