Family Syllabus: This loving, hardworking family in Los Angeles (currently residing in Beverly Grove) is seeking a wonderful nanny to join their team and care for their sweet, almost-three-year-old son. They also have an adorable mini Labradoodle who’s always up for a morning walk and some belly rubs! With plans to grow their family soon, they’re hoping to find someone with experience caring for newborns, infants, and toddlers. They also have a fantastic housekeeper who handles all the deep cleaning, so the focus can stay on creating a fun, nurturing environment for their little one. The family will be making an exciting move to Hancock Park this spring!
Ideal Candidate: The family’s dream nanny is someone who truly understands child development and finds joy in spending their days with a curious, loving little boy. A strong background in toddler milestones and potty training will set you up for success in this role. They’re also looking for someone with a clean, reliable vehicle who can safely transport their son to and from school, and help with grocery shopping and errands. If you love teaching, playing, and nurturing the wonder of a preschooler, this could be the perfect fit!
Job Synopsis: This wonderful family is looking for an all-star nanny to take the lead on all child-related tasks, including the child’s laundry, keeping his play and sleep areas neat and organized, grocery shopping, prepping healthy meals, washing dishes, and running errands. Your mornings will be spent walking the sweet family dog, tidying up, and taking care of household to-dos while their little one is at preschool. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 11 am to 7 pm. Their toddler is in preschool from 8 am–2:30 pm, but when school is out, they’ll need full-day care from around 8 am to 5:30 or 6 pm, so flexibility is key. The rate is $40/hour gross, with paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a $300/month health insurance stipend. No travel or overnights required, and while a college degree is not necessary, a positive, proactive attitude definitely is!
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is vaccinated for Covid, flu, and Tdap or is willing to receive these vaccines.
