Family Syllabus: This private UHNW family is seeking a dependable ROTA NCS to join their family team! This faith-based family has four children and is loving and tight-knit. The parents are hands-on and looking for another NCS to join their cohesive family team to help care for their infant, along with a newborn that is on the way. This family values kindness, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring presence during the newborn stage.
Ideal Candidate: This wonderful family would love to connect with a highly experienced NCS who brings deep knowledge of newborn development, safe sleep practices, feeding support, and gentle sleep conditioning. The ideal candidate is confident yet intuitive. Someone who can “read the room,” knowing when to step in with guidance and when to give the family space to bond and grow in their new roles. They hope to welcome an educated, emotionally intelligent professional who approaches newborn care with warmth, organization, and expertise.
Job Synopsis: Primary responsibilities will focus on all newborn-related care, ensuring the baby’s environment is safe, clean, and organized. Duties include maintaining a tidy, peaceful nursery space and supporting healthy sleep and feeding routines. The family would also value an NCS who feels comfortable recommending and ordering baby-related products, sharing helpful resources, and collaborating with them as they navigate life with their newborn. The schedule will begin with a combination of nights and days, working 12-hour shifts, and will transition to 24/7 shifts for the first few months after the baby is born. This is a two-week ROTA position for a minimum of 6 months of care. The rate for this position is from $60 to $70 per hour DOE. The family will provide housing, and they prefer candidates who are located in California. 5 years of professional newborn care experience
24/7 experience
CPR/first aid certification
