Family Syllabus: A warm and welcoming family of new parents is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and dependable nanny to join their household and care for their sweet 4-month-old baby boy during the day. They are looking for a wonderful daytime caregiver to provide loving, attentive care as they settle into this exciting new chapter. Dad works from home, while Mom is home with her son, and the family values a calm, collaborative household environment where communication and teamwork are highly valued. They are looking for a nanny who is confident with infant care, attentive to developmental milestones, and able to create a nurturing and engaging daily routine for their baby. A housekeeper handles the home’s deep cleaning, allowing the nanny to focus on providing exceptional care and creating a positive, peaceful environment for the baby. They also employ assistants and a private chef.

Ideal Candidate: This wonderful family is seeking an exceptional and experienced nanny with a strong foundation in infant care to care for their newborn and grow with the family. In the early months, the nanny will support and guide first-time parents with confidence and care. Responsibilities include meticulous tracking of feedings, sleep schedules, diapering, and developmental milestones, along with clear and consistent communication. This family is looking for a knowledgeable, emotionally intelligent, and highly organized professional who can offer loving, long-term support and become a trusted partner in their parenting journey. If you’re passionate about child development and ready to help guide this little one through each exciting stage, they would love to meet you. Please be able to swim and understand safe swimming practices, as the family has a pool at their home. They also have a preference for nannies who speak Spanish, Arabic, or French, but they’re open to any other language.

Job Synopsis: The nanny will incorporate age-appropriate developmental activities, such as tummy time, visual tracking, singing, and narration, to support early learning. As the child grows, the role will evolve to include introducing solid foods, supporting transitions in sleep routines, planning enriching outings, fostering early language and motor development, and creating fun, educational play experiences. Duties will include baby laundry, sanitizing bottles, and keeping the baby’s nursery and sleep area clean and tidy. Additional responsibilities include organizing and rotating age-appropriate toys, engaging the baby in sensory and developmental play, supporting transitions such as nap schedule changes or teething, and gently guiding the baby through each new stage. Light household tasks related to the child, such as tidying the play area and kitchen after use, may also be expected. As the baby grows, the nanny may research and coordinate local baby-friendly activities or classes to support socialization and continued development. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9 am to 7 or 8 pm, with the flexibility to come early or stay later and work occasional weekends. The rate for this role is from $40 to $45/hour gross plus overtime, depending on experience, with paid vacation, paid sick time, and paid holidays. Please be passport-ready and open to traveling with the family domestically and internationally. They do have a second home in Miami, which they travel to and may stay for up to a month at a time.

Vaccination Requirements: The family is requesting candidates with the standard vaccines, including MMR, Tdap, and the flu vaccine.
