Family Syllabus: A wonderful family in Anaheim living in a gated community is looking for a full-time live-in or live-out nanny to care for their bright, well-behaved, and gentle 6-year-old son. The child loves to scooter, play piano and he takes Korean language classes. This family is looking for an engaging, creative, and experienced nanny who can support these dual working parents. Their son has severe allergies to nuts, eggs, dairy/milk so please be mindful. This family treats their nanny like part family. The family will offer a season pass to Disney! Wahoo!
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is kind, engaging, playful, and enjoys reading and being in the outdoors. The family would love a nanny who enjoys cooking and comes up with ideas for meals. The family also has a housekeeper. The nanny will be responsible for light household duties such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, tidying up the child’s play area, preparing meals, and the child’s laundry. Please have a clean and reliable vehicle and be open to transporting the child to extracurricular activities. A college degree is preferred, but not required for this position. The family will provide the nanny with a private bedroom and bathroom if they choose to live in their home.
Job Synopsis: The schedule will be Mon-Fri from 12:30-6:30 pm with flexibility and the family will offer a guarantee of 40 hours per week if need be. They would most like the nanny to prep healthy meals for the child and help with child-related household duties. The child is homeschooled at the moment. He is in first grade, but he can read at a 5th-grade level. The position is paying $25-$35/hour gross and is offering two weeks of paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, and paid holidays. There will be no travel or overnights needed at this time.
