Family Syllabus:  A wonderful family in Anaheim living in a gated community is looking for a full-time live-in or live-out nanny to care for their bright, well-behaved, and gentle 6-year-old son. The child loves to scooter, play piano and he takes Korean language classes. This family is looking for an engaging, creative, and experienced nanny who can support these dual working parents. Their son has severe allergies to nuts, eggs, dairy/milk so please be mindful. Their current nanny has been working with them for the last 4 years and they are opening their home to a new team player. Their current nanny will train the nanny and teach them how to make all of the meals for their son. This family treats their nanny like family. The family will offer a season pass to Disney! Wahoo!

Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is kind, engaging, playful, and enjoys reading and being in the outdoors. The family would love a nanny who enjoys cooking and comes up with ideas for meals. The family does have a housekeeper. The nanny will be responsible for light household duties such as loading and unloading the dishwasher, tidying up the child’s play area, preparing meals, and the child’s laundry. Please have a clean and reliable vehicle and be open to transporting the child to and from school and extracurricular activities. A college degree is preferred, but not required for this position. The family will provide the nanny will have her own bedroom and bathroom. The family is open to providing a nanny vehicle if need be.

Job Synopsis:  The schedule will be Mon-Fri and alternating weekends with a guarantee of 40 hours per week. For the weeks the mother works, the nanny would be needed from 6 am until 8:30 am, and when they need help again from 2:30-8 pm. On the weekends, they will need some care for the mother to sleep after her night shift and then help out when she returns to work. On the weeks the mom doesn’t work, the family will not need as much care. They would most like the nanny to prep healthy meals for the child and help with homework. He is in first grade, but he can read at a 5th-grade level. The position is paying $25-$35/hour gross and is offering two weeks of paid vacation, 5 paid sick days and paid holidays. There will be no travel or overnights needed at this time.

COVID requirements: Please be taking COVID extremely seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines.  The family is requesting a nanny who is COVID vaccinated.

Qualifications:

Five years of professional nanny experience
