Family Syllabus: A devoted and kindhearted family currently living in Bellevue, Washington, and relocating to Seattle, WA in the spring or summer of 2022 is looking for an affectionate and proactive nanny for their sweet and curious almost 1-year-old son. Both parents are working professionals who work inside of the home and they are in meetings most of their day. They are conscious and healthy parents who love being parents and they also love working. Both parents have experience with the Montessori educational system and would love to continue this style of teaching for their son.
Ideal Candidate: A nanny who has experience working with infants and understands developmental milestones and early childhood development would be ideal. A morning person who is detail-oriented, loves music, playing puzzles, and games would make their hearts sing. Please love the outdoors, and coming up with engaging activities. An energetic nanny who is professional and personable and understands boundaries will be key for this role. They are seeking someone who is wanting to grow with a family and commit to a long-term position. The family would love a candidate who can keep up with a busy toddler, play, read, dance, and do arts and crats. Only apply if you are a team player with a positive and helpful disposition. Please be flexible as there may be travel up to one week at a time, and mindful as their child has a mild peanut allergy. It’s a bonus if you speak Mandarin, but this is not a requirement.
Job Synopsis: The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 7 am until 4 pm. The family is open to a live-in or live-out nanny, but they prefer live-out for part of the time. Please note that both the home in the mountains and the home in the city have a separate living area for the nanny with a shared entrance. This role is paying $25-$36/hour gross DOE plus 2 weeks paid vacation, paid sick days, paid holidays, and a monthly medical stipend. Additional duties will include cleaning up after the baby, organizing the nursery, light housekeeping, children’s laundry, preparing healthy and nutritious snacks and meals, and occasional grocery shopping. A college degree is preferred, but not required. The nanny will need to have her own vehicle.
COVID requirements: Please be taking COVID extremely seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines. The family requires the COVID and Tdap vaccines.

Qualifications:
Three years of professional nanny experience
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent references
Clean reliable vehicle
