Family Syllabus: A kind and hardworking calm family is looking for an exceptional engaging nanny to care for their sweet and high-energy verbal 21-month-old daughter.  A nanny who can implement age-appropriate activities and support her developmental milestones.  Candidates who love to be playful and can easily tag team with both mom and dad are encouraged to apply.  Their daughter attends a toddler program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 am-10:30 am.  Both parents work long hours from home, and they are very involved and would like someone who can be an extension to their family.

Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is flexible, trustworthy, and is a go-getter!  A nanny who is kind yet firm, who is a team player, proactive, and who prioritizes safety will be a great fit for this family.  Their daughter does have food allergies to shellfish and carrots, so please be extremely mindful when preparing meals and snacks.  They would love a nanny who has a background and understands the RIE philosophy.   The family would appreciate the nanny to assist with some healthy meal preparation and occasional light household duties pertaining to the child and unloading the dishwasher, and wipes down the kitchen counter at the end of the day. There will be a nanny vehicle provided by the family for the nanny to drive.  A college degree is required for this role.

Job Synopsis: The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8:00 am-6:30 pm and may need the nanny to occasionally start at 7:30 am. The nanny spends many days on walks and at the park playing. The position is paying $25-$30/hour gross and overtime and is offering 10 days of paid vacation, 72 hours of paid sick time, and paid federal holidays. The family is seeking a nanny to grow with the family and they will still guarantee 35 hours per week even their daughter goes to preschool. Some travel may be required for up to one to two weeks at a time.  No overnights, in general, will be required. The family will be moving to Cheviot Hills in the spring/summer of 2022.

COVID Requirements: Please be taking COVID extremely seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines.  The family is requesting a nanny who is COVID vaccinated.
