Family Syllabus: A loving family of 6 located in Brentwood is looking for a superstar nanny/family assistant to join their family! This family has 4 children ages 14, 12, 4, and 3. The older boys are with them about 50% of the time and these children are very self-sufficient. The younger children attend school M-F from 9 am – 1:30/2 pm. Both parents work from home. The family is hoping to add a new addition to the family within the next year, so having infant experience would be a huge plus!
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate would be someone who is ready to grow long-term with this family! They would love someone who is energetic, positive, organized, proactive, caring, and has strong attention to detail. Preparing healthy meals is a family team effort and they would love a nanny who is open to preparing family meals 1-2 times a week and open to basic meal prep. Someone who is attentive to allergies, as one child has a mild peanut allergy, would be amazing! This family would love a candidate who is knowledgeable in child development and milestones, has worked with multiples, and loves children of all ages! A nanny who is engaging and hands-on, yet kind and patient when working with the children at the same time would be ideal. A candidate who is active, fun, and adventurous will thrive with this fun family! Their daughters are very sweet, active, independent, and into horseback riding, ballet, pretend play, and swimming! Someone who is ready and willing to help wherever necessary to keep the household running smoothly would be great! Please be a good swimmer, as the family does have a pool and enjoys swimming! A nanny vehicle will be provided, so please be a safe and reliable driver! A college degree is not required.
Job Synopsis: Additional tasks will include, help with preschool learning activities, dishes, preparing basic healthy meals, laundry, organization, grocery shopping, and household errands. The schedule for the great opportunity is Sunday – Thursday from 12 pm – 8 pm. Flexibility is key for this role, as there could be some flexibility in the schedule occasionally (with plenty of notice) or when traveling. No overnights and occasional travel up to 1-2 weeks at a time this summer. This role is paying $30-$35/ hour gross and offers paid sick time, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and a $100 medical stipend.
