Family Syllabus: A kind, inclusive, growing family in Chatsworth is looking for a professional, team player nanny to join them in caring for their newest little one. The family has a 3-year-old son that has a dedicated nanny that will be working alongside you. The family will be welcoming the new baby in June 2022. Both parents will be working from inside the home and mom will also be working outside of the home and traveling occasionally for work. Please be comfortable with pets as the family has a cat.
Ideal Candidate: The family’s ideal candidate is knowledgeable of all newborn and infant stages, developmental milestones, and safety. Candidates that are kind but firm, great with setting boundaries, and work well as a team would fit right in. The family would like a nanny that is happy to help with light tidying of the home, dishes, and child-related cleanup. Nannies that are looking for a long-term, inclusive, caring family to help support and grow with, this is it! A college degree is not required for this role. Please know how to swim, and have a clean, reliable vehicle. There will not be a lot of driving involved in this role.
Job Synopsis: The nanny will be responsible for changing diapers, emptying the diaper pail, organizing the nursery, sanitizing baby items, baby laundry, and light household cleaning. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8 am-5/6 pm for the newborn only. This role is paying $35-40/hour and offering 2 weeks paid vacation, 48 hours paid sick time, paid federal holidays, and a monthly medical stipend. The family is willing to pay up to $40/hour for candidates who have 10 years of nanny experience and/or a college degree in child development or education, and full flexibility. Flexibility for occasional overnights and open to possible travel in the future.
Vaccine Requirements: The family is requesting a nanny who has been vaccinated for MMR, flu, and Tdap, and is COVID vaccinated and boosted.
Roll Call: This incredible position starts mid-June to mid-July.
