Family Syllabus: This active family of four, in Cheviot Hills is looking for a Nanny/ Family Assistant to join the team! They have a 13-year-old son and an 11-year-old daughter. Their son plays club baseball, school baseball, and flag football. Their daughter plays club soccer and school soccer, and both children are excellent in school. The parents occasionally work from inside the home and they have a housekeeper who comes during the week and private tutors who help the children on occasion with their schoolwork. The children attend a private school nearby from 8 am-3 pm.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is local to the Los Angeles area, educated, flexible, dependable, responsible, caring, and excellent at organization. They are looking for a nanny who has had longevity in their previous roles and will be with their family for the long run. Be ready to spend your days assisting the family and your afternoons picking the children up from school, taking the children to other extracurricular activities, and keeping the kids on track with their schoolwork. Their perfect nanny will be a great communicator and will work as a team with the parents. A nanny who loves to stay active with the kids whether its baking and making bracelets, going to the beach club, swimming in their pool, or going for a bike ride through the neighborhood. A nanny who is comfortable helping the two children with homework and other related school projects would be the perfect candidate. A college degree and clean driving record is required for this position. A nanny vehicle will be provided.
Job Synopsis: Duties related to this position will include helping with school projects, taking the children to their after school activities, and doing fun activities during their down time. The schedule for this position is a guarantee of 35 hours per week and will be Monday through Friday 2:30 pm-8:30 pm with flexibility to stay late some evenings. The rate for this role is $35-40/hour gross with benefits such as paid time off, holidays, and sick days.
