Family Syllabus: These kind first-time parents in West Hollywood are excited to welcome an experienced daytime NCS to their care team! They value expertise, warmth, professionalism, and an NCS who brings a calm, reassuring energy to the home. The family also has two large dogs, so comfort with pets and a thoughtful approach to newborn and pet safety are important.
Ideal Candidate: This family is looking for a seasoned daytime NCS with a strong understanding of newborn development, safe sleep, feeding support, and establishing healthy daytime rhythms that help set baby up for restful nights. The ideal candidate is confident in their expertise while remaining warm, collaborative, and respectful of the parents’ role. Someone who can offer guidance when it’s helpful while giving parents space to learn and lead will be a wonderful fit. A true newborn expert who enjoys answering questions, sharing knowledge, and helping first-time parents feel confident will be highly valued. Organization, professionalism, and a genuine love of newborn care are a must!
Job Synopsis: The primary focus will be providing exceptional daytime newborn care while keeping the baby’s environment safe, peaceful, clean, and organized. Responsibilities include supporting feeding, maintaining a consistent daytime rhythm, encouraging healthy sleep and feeding routines, keeping the nursery tidy, and offering gentle, knowledgeable guidance throughout these exciting first months. Baby laundry, bottle sanitizing, and other light newborn-related tasks will also be part of the role. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM for five months. The rate is from $50 to $75 per hour, depending on experience. Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting an NCS who is vaccinated for Tdap and MMR.

Qualifications:
Five years of professional newborn care experience
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent verifiable references
