Family Syllabus: This amazing family in Encino is searching for a full-time nanny for their school-aged boys! Their darling 10-year-old is nonverbal autistic and uses an iPad to communicate. He is homeschooled with a private teacher during the week while the 9-year-old attends school. The parents work from outside the home and they also have a housekeeper and a darling dog that will not require any care from the nanny.
Ideal Candidate: The perfect fit for this family has experience working directly with autistic children. ABA therapists with nanny experience, apply now! A nanny who loves to swim and cook will be a dream for this family! A clean driving record and experience driving children to appointments and activities is ideal. A college degree is not required.
Job Synopsis: Spend your afternoons prepping for dinner for these sweet boys while you oversee homework time at the kitchen table nearby! Tutoring will not be required. The family’s housekeeper handles all the laundry and cleaning, but if they are away, the nanny will be responsible for the children’s laundry and cleaning. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 10:30 am-6:30 pm. This role is paying a range of $40-45/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. Overnights will be required occasionally and please be ready to travel with this amazing family for up to 1 week at a time! A vehicle will be provided for the nanny to use during working hours.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated and boosted.
