Family Syllabus: These sweet first-time parents in Westchester are excitedly preparing to welcome their first child in late September 2026 (Baby due October 1). They are seeking a warm, knowledgeable, and nurturing newborn care specialist to guide them through this special chapter. They are hoping to partner with someone who can provide both hands-on support and thoughtful guidance as they transition into parenthood. This family values kindness, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring presence during the newborn stage.
Ideal Candidate: This wonderful family would love to connect with a highly experienced local NCS who brings deep knowledge of newborn development, safe sleep practices, feeding support, and gentle sleep conditioning. The ideal candidate is confident yet intuitive. someone who can “read the room,” knowing when to step in with guidance and when to give the family space to bond and grow in their new roles. They hope to welcome an educated, emotionally intelligent professional who approaches newborn care with warmth, organization, and expertise. A true baby expert who can support the parents, answer questions, and offer thoughtful suggestions will be an incredible asset during these first months. If you are a responsible, tidy, and supportive NCS who thrives in helping new parents feel confident and cared for, this could be a wonderful fit. Please be comfortable working with two dads and be LGBTQ+ parent-friendly.
Job Synopsis: Primary responsibilities will focus on all newborn-related care, ensuring the baby’s environment is safe, clean, and organized. Duties include sanitizing bottles, maintaining a tidy, peaceful nursery space, and supporting healthy sleep and feeding routines. The family would also value an NCS who feels comfortable recommending and ordering baby-related products, sharing helpful resources, and educating them as they navigate life with their newborn. The schedule will begin with 7 nights per week from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM for the first 8 weeks, followed by 5 nights per week for an additional 12 weeks, for a total commitment of 5 months of care. The rate for this position is $50–$55 per hour, depending on experience. Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting an NCS who is vaccinated with Tdap and prefers COVID and flu vaccines.
Roll Call: This amazing position starts in late September 2026 and runs through February 2027.
Qualifications:
Five years of professional newborn care experience
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent references
