Family Syllabus: This private family in Hancock Park is looking for a highly active and intelligent ROTA nanny to help care for their bright, energetic, inquisitive, and creative children. The daughters are 7 and 1, and the son is 4 years old. The children attend school, and the 1-year-old daughter has a full-time nanny who cares for her during the day. They also have a full-time housekeeper who helps the family daily.
Ideal Candidate: The family’s dream nanny has longevity with families and has years of experience caring for children. If you are a modern-day Mary Poppins who is super fun, has a great sense of humor, and has impeccable organizational skills, this job is for you! A flexible nanny who travels domestically and internationally would be the ideal match. A nanny with a pleasant disposition, an affinity for children, good moral character, and emotional intelligence would fit right in with this team. Please be a nanny ready to be active and adventurous, and help her children with education as they grow! A nanny who can utilize gentle parenting techniques to support her children and be an extension of mom while she is away would be a dream. A nanny who knows how to read a room, knows when to step in and out, and is a true team player would be the perfect fit. Someone kind, excellent at communication, and well-informed would be needed for this role. A nanny who is an excellent swimmer and comfortable being in the water with the children is a must! A bachelor’s degree and a background in child development are strongly preferred but are not required. This family is looking for seasoned nannies, ideally with 24/7 ROTA experience, but they will also consider nannies who have live-in experience and longevity with families.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days engaging and exploring with the most inquisitive children! Tidying up the children’s play areas, preparing their meals, and keeping up with their laundry will be required. The schedule for this position is a 24/7, 1 week on and 1 week off rotation. The nanny will be expected to take their vacations on their off weeks. This role will be live-in on rotation. The pay for this role is $130K+ with flexibility depending on experience, with paid sick days, and health insurance. Traveling will be required, so be ready to adventure with this fantastic team! Overnights are expected, and you must be a safe and reliable driver. A nanny vehicle will be provided.
