Family Syllabus: This sweet family is looking for an amazing play-based nanny to spend their days with their calm and gentle two-year-old son! They are expecting baby boy number two in early November and are excited to welcome a loving, engaging nanny who can become a trusted part of their family. The nanny’s primary focus will be their two-year-old, who loves cars, playing outside, and going on adventures! Mom plans to care for the newborn, but she would like a nanny who has infant experience to support her when needed. They are looking for someone who genuinely loves the toddler stage and will keep him happy, engaged, and learning throughout the day. Dad works both inside and outside of the home. The family is hoping to find a nanny who is warm, nurturing, proactive, dependable, and truly enjoys becoming part of a family’s day-to-day life. They also have a sweet pup who is an important member of the family, so please love dogs and be comfortable having a furry companion around during the day!
Ideal Candidate: The family’s ideal candidate has a strong understanding of child development and is knowledgeable about upcoming milestones. They are looking for someone who is organized, patient, kind, dependable, and an excellent communicator. A nanny who is creative and enjoys planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, exploration, and development will be a wonderful fit. The family also values someone who is proactive and takes pride in keeping the child’s play and sleeping areas clean, organized, and tidy. A college degree is not required for this role; however, a strong knowledge of child development and experience supporting toddlers through their various stages of growth is essential. The family has a pool, and the nanny must be able to swim. Please be knowledgeable and open to supporting with potty training as well.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days learning and exploring with the sweetest little boy! The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. This role pays $40/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. Duties for this position will be fully related to their son, including preparing healthy meals and snacks and keeping his room and play areas clean, organized, and tidy. Running occasional errands and other organizational projects would also be greatly appreciated. Traveling is not required, but the family would love a nanny who is open to traveling with them in the future. A reliable vehicle and clean driving record are required for this position. The family will reimburse for mileage.
