Family Syllabus: These first-time parents in Studio City are seeking a knowledgeable, nurturing full-time nanny to care for their infant daughter, born in June 2025. They value a consistent, caring, and screen-free environment that supports her growth, early learning, and natural curiosity. Since Mom and Dad work both in and out of the home, they hope to find someone who is collaborative, communicative, and comfortable taking direction. They are not ‘helicopter’ parents, and think it’s important that kids (even babies!) have time to explore and discover on their own. Their philosophy is more focused on adhering closely to a few key foundational principles, and then leaving room for babies to explore and learn (and for their caretakers to shape how that learning happens). Their family enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring local arts and music, and traveling. The ideal candidate has strong infant experience, a genuine interest in child development, and a desire to become a long-term, integrated part of the family, especially as they look ahead to the potential addition of a future sibling. They also have a housekeeper to support with deep cleaning.
Ideal Candidate: This family is seeking a nurturing and dedicated nanny to provide comprehensive and loving care for their infant and to partner closely with them in her ongoing development. Core responsibilities include all aspects of daily care, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and maintaining consistent sleep and feeding routines in alignment with the family’s guidance.
The ideal candidate will actively support the child’s cognitive, social, and physical growth through age-appropriate engagement such as reading, music, games, and enriching activities both in and outside the home, while upholding a strict no-screens policy. Energy and enthusiasm are essential in order to match their daughter’s active nature and to provide gentle and supportive physical play.
This role also includes ensuring the child’s safety and a clean environment by managing her laundry, sterilizing bottles, and performing light tidying. Excellent daily communication about her activities, milestones, and any concerns is crucial, as you will collaborate closely with the parents to maintain a consistent and evolving care plan that supports positive behavioral development and reinforces boundaries as she grows. A clean driving record is required, and the family is open to providing a nanny vehicle to use during your shift, or they are open to you using your own vehicle. While the parents are open to hiring a candidate who doesn’t have a college degree, they would like the nanny to have a strong foundation in child development.
Job Synopsis: This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who loves spending their days nurturing, engaging with, and supporting the growth of a sweet and curious baby girl. Your responsibilities will center on her well-being and development, including preparing healthy meals and snacks, managing her laundry, keeping her play and rest spaces clean and organized, and planning enriching daily activities. The family may occasionally request help with simple errands as well.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7 am to 4 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 12 pm, with some flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends. The family offers a rate of $35-40/hour gross, along with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. This position is ideal for a nanny who is excited to build a meaningful relationship with a lovely family and play an important role in their daughter’s early years. There will be no travel for this position or overnights.
Vaccination Requirements: The family requires a nanny who has received COVID shots and boosters, as well as the flu shot, MMR, and Tdap vaccine.

Three years of professional nanny experience
At least one year of recent infant experience
CPR/first aid certification
TrustLine certified
Clean reliable vehicle
