Family Syllabus: This sweet family in Santa Monica is looking for a nanny to primarily care for their infant son! Their infant is a happy and sweet baby. He does have reflux and colic, which they are working on switching his formula to help. They would also like occasional help with their 4-year-old son. Their son has high-functioning ASD (primarily sensory challenges) and currently attends school Monday-Friday 8 am – 1 pm. Their four-year-old is extremely bright. He is curious and loves to learn how things work. Both parents work from inside the home. They have two sweet kitties so please be comfortable with cats.
Ideal Candidate: A proactive, educated, bubbly, enthusiastic, and engaging nanny is the perfect fit for this family. An experienced infant nanny with an up-to-date understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities. The family is looking for a long-term fit to bond with their sons and grow with their family. A nanny who is willing to assist with household chores and baby-related tasks and who is confident in the developmental milestones for their son as he grows from infant to toddler would be the perfect fit. A nanny who is organized and can implement organization into their home would be an incredible addition. A nanny who is comfortable tutoring and assisting their older son with school work would be a huge plus! They would like a nanny who is proactive instead of reactive. Someone who can communicate well with their boys and can plan and stay on schedule. A bachelor’s degree is required for this position, a master’s degree is preferred. If the nanny speaks a second language, that would be a bonus but is not a requirement.
Job Synopsis: Duties related to this position will include preparing age appropriate activities for their child, cleaning the child’s play areas, taking care of the child’s laundry, and other common household chores that need to be completed while the parents are working. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday 9 am-5 pm with flexibility. This role is paying $40-45/hour gross with paid vacation, sick time, holidays, and a medical stipend. Please be open and flexible about traveling with the family. Please have a clean, reliable vehicle to run errands and transport children.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is up to date on the MMR, TDAP, FLU and COVID vaccines and open to getting them in the future.
