Family Syllabus: This wonderful family of 6 in Sacramento is looking for a rockstar full-time career Family Assistant/ Household Manager to keep them organized! They have four bright children: two girls who are 18 and 17 years old, and two boys who are 15 and 5 years old. The two older children will be in college, while the boys are in high school and elementary school. Both parents work inside and outside of the home. Their home is lively, and they love organization. The family travels extensively and has a second home in Paris.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive and detail-oriented Family Assistant or Household Manager with a strong organizational mindset to feel empowered quickly with all household management. This will include organizing the home. Noticing things that need to be repaired and being proactive in calling on a handyman as needed. Please be excellent at time management, tech-savvy, compassionate, and reliable, someone who can truly be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, a kind demeanor, and high emotional intelligence, and knows how to read a room. A love for working with children is essential and this person should be comfortable supporting the children with homework and school projects. This is a fast-paced, ever-evolving role suited for someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being an integral part of a dynamic, active family.
Job Synopsis: The role includes transporting the kids from school and activities ensuring they stay clean, healthy, and organized. In addition to childcare, you’ll maintain the family calendar, manage the household, like laundry, organizing closets, and light meal prep. You’ll also assist with keeping the home neat and tidy, supporting the cleaning crew, and ensuring all supplies are stocked, including groceries and household essentials. You’ll manage the family’s schedule with attention to detail, from vet appointments for their dog to overseeing home maintenance and service providers. The schedule for this position will be Monday, Wednesday – Friday 7 am until 7 pm with flexibility to work Saturdays 8 am – 1 pm, stay later some evenings, occasional overnights, and travel both domestically and internationally with the family. This role is paying $45+/hr with 2 weeks of paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. This role also requires a clean driving record, as you’ll drive the kids to their activities and errands when needed. The family will provide a vehicle while working. The family is hoping for someone who lives relatively close to Sacramento.

Five years of professional family assistant/ household manager experience
Travel Experience
