Family Syllabus: These sweet first-time parents in Newport Coast are looking for an incredible Family Assistant who is comfortable with infants to grow with their family for years to come. They have a sweet 6-month-old baby who will spend most of their time with mom! They are looking for someone who can assist mom and also step in and care for their baby when needed. This is a multigenerational home, and they would love a professional who is comfortable collaborating with them. They have a housekeeper who handles the deep cleaning; however, they would like a true team player who is open to working together to keep the home running smoothly. The family also has two lovable dogs who think they’re part of the welcome committee! Please be comfortable and experienced around dogs, keeping things safe, and giving them a little TLC along the way.

The ideal candidate is a warm, professional, bubbly, and highly detail-oriented individual with strong experience in infant care. The family embraces a gentle, attachment-based parenting approach, including responsive nap routines, and consistently provides a calm, nurturing, and supportive environment tailored to their sons’ needs. The family assistant will take pride in creating an organized, calm, and sanitary environment, ensuring that all of Mom’s items and baby items are thoughtfully maintained and easily accessible. They are proactive in sanitizing toys and frequently used baby areas, while also offering supportive assistance to new parents by organizing closets, clothing, and household systems. Beyond traditional nanny responsibilities, this candidate intuitively anticipates the needs of mom, contributing to a well-run, peaceful home by keeping spaces clean, structured, and simple to maintain. Their ability to combine nurturing care with exceptional organizational skills makes them an invaluable support during this important stage of family life. A college degree is not required for this role.
Job Synopsis: This job is for a career Family Assistant who understands and enjoys working in a fully staffed household. Job duties will include maintaining an organized, sanitary environment by managing baby items, sanitizing toys and key areas, and supporting mom with organizing clothing, closets, calendars, errands, and daily essentials. This position will include creating a calm, well-structured home that is easy for a new family to maintain. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday 10 am to 7 pm with flexibility to work some weekends, stay later some evenings, occasional overnights, and travel both domestically and internationally with the family. This role is paying from $40 to $50/hr DOE with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. This role also requires a clean driving record and a safe and reliable vehicle. The family will reimburse for mileage.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is up to date on Tdap and MMR vaccinations.

Five years of professional family assistant experience
Recent infant experience
CPR/first aid certification
