Family Syllabus: These lovely parents in Beverly Hills are seeking their perfect nanny fit! They have a darling boy who is 2.75 years old, two yellow labs, a mixed hound, and five cats who spend most of their time outdoors, and they are all members of the family! The parents work from inside the home, and they also have a housekeeper. They have plans to grow their family in the future and would love for their nanny to grow with them as they add to their crew!
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal nanny is an excellent communicator who has a great understanding of child development and the Montessori philosophy. A camp counselor-type nanny who is an animal lover who can’t wait to spend their days surrounded by the love they give! Nannies who engage with their darling boy to read books, sing songs, play in the pool, and create learning opportunities are the most important piece of this role. A college degree is required for this position. A bilingual nanny would be great, but this is a nice-to-have, not a must-have. Please be able to swim and practice water safety.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days focused on this sweet boy and his developmental milestones! Other duties include, but are not limited to healthy meal preparation, feeding and clean-up, support of child’s general hygiene including baths, preparing for naps, activity planning, transportation to and from activities themselves, education and child developmental planning, child laundry and room organization, light home and pet care/walking, or light errands (such as dry cleaning or Trader Joe’s) as needed with time permitting. This family values excellent and responsive communication, transparency, mutual collaboration, and a team member who helps proactively where and when needed. The schedule is to work 40 hours per week, guaranteed for 8 hours each day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday. Your work schedule may change depending upon the family’s needs or as mutually agreed, but a standard schedule would be 11 am to 7:00 pm. This role pays $45/hour gross, with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays, as well as a monthly medical stipend. Overnights may be required if the parents are traveling, and they’d love it if their nanny were open to traveling with them domestically and internationally!
Vaccination Requirements: The family requires a nanny who has received COVID shots and boosters, as well as the flu shot and Tdap vaccine.
