Family Syllabus: A warm and welcoming private family in the Brentwood area is seeking an experienced, educated nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. The family has two children and is looking for a nurturing, adaptable professional who enjoys supporting children through various developmental stages. The family anticipates future growth and values a candidate who is flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic household environment. This is a partially staffed home, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside parents and household staff while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and strong communication. The household also includes family pets, so candidates should be comfortable around dogs. The family is seeking someone who is warm, proactive, and committed to building a lasting relationship with the household.
Ideal Candidate: This family is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative nanny who values a team-oriented approach to childcare. The ideal candidate is a proactive, polished professional with a deep understanding of child development and a genuine passion for their career. A nanny who is familiar with Montessori and who is warm, engaging, professional, and able to connect well with children while still providing structure and guidance will be the perfect fit. Days will focus on engaging their children in active, educational play that supports their age-appropriate developmental milestones. They value exceptional communication skills and are seeking someone who embraces a collaborative approach, as they believe strong teamwork is key to providing the best possible environment for their children.
Previous experience working in a fully staffed household is nice to have, along with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with parents and other household professionals. The family values discretion and safety. Mom is truly looking for a teammate to collaborate with and work alongside her. A background in education or classroom teaching is highly preferred.
Job Synopsis: Duties related to this position will include preparing healthy light snacks and breakfast, cleaning their children’s rooms and play areas, taking care of their children’s laundry, and driving their children to and from school and other activities. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2 pm, with the flexibility to work date nights and overnights. There is a possibility of domestic and international travel in the future. The rate for this role is from $50 to $60 per hour gross DOE with benefits such as paid time off, holidays, sick days, and a medical stipend of $450 per month. A clean driving record and a reliable and safe vehicle are required for this position. The family will reimburse for mileage.

Qualifications:
Five years of professional nanny experience
Experience in a fully-staffed household
Some developmental education preferred
CPR/first aid certification
TrustLine certified
