Family Syllabus: This intelligent family of three in Beverly Hills is looking for a nanny to spend their days with their sweet 8-month-old daughter! Their daughter loves music and is crawling and actively pulling herself up, trying her best to start walking all on her own! She is on a wonderful schedule, sleeping through the night, taking two consistent naps during the day, and enjoys all the new foods she has been trying. Mom and Dad work from inside and outside the home, so someone who can collaborate and take direction is ideal. Please be comfortable with dogs, as they have a little dog with a big personality.
Ideal Candidate: This family is searching for a nanny who isn’t just a caregiver, but a genuine partner in their child’s development. Their ideal candidate is deeply knowledgeable in child development, focusing on infant and toddler milestones, and understands the exciting journey of growth ahead. A nanny who is consistently on the ground with their child and fully engaged in her play and learning. The ideal candidate is someone who is inherently kind, humble, and possesses discretion. A nanny who can expertly maintain a consistent sleep and feeding schedule would be an absolute dream for this family. Their daughter is following baby-led weaning and enjoys all varieties of foods. A nanny who can assist mom in preparing clean, healthy, and organic snacks and meals for their daughter would be a dream. They’re looking for someone who is proactive and takes initiative. This includes keeping the child’s sleeping and play areas tidy and organized, light meal prep, and when not caring for the baby, assisting the family with various errands, such as dog care, returns, and looking over the home while the family is away (if you are not joining them for the trip). They value a nanny who is a good communicator, extremely humble, and someone who is collaborative and proactive, yet also adept at following directions and integrating feedback. An excellent driving record is a must. While a college degree isn’t required for this role, a deep understanding of child development is essential.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days learning and exploring with the sweetest little girl! Duties for this position will include their daughter’s laundry, preparing healthy meals and snacks, keeping her room and play areas clean, organized, and tidy, running errands for the family, house sitting while the family is away, and occasionally taking their sweet pup for a walk. The schedule for this position is a guarantee of 40 hours, Tuesday-Friday, typically with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8-6. And Saturdays will usually be late afternoon/nighttime until around 10 pm. Flexibility is important with the ability to shift hours and/or stay late on occasion. The family is open to a candidate working Monday through Friday and two Saturdays per month for the right fit. This role is paying $40-45/hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a medical stipend. Occasional overnights, date nights, weekends, and domestic and international travel will be required. The family will provide a nanny vehicle to use while working.
