Family Syllabus: This sweet family in Venice is looking for an incredible full-time nanny for their children! Their daughter is 16-months-old, and their newest addition will be coming in September. Their daughter will be attending a preschool nearby 3 days a week. They are excited to find an experienced, warm, long-term fit to join their family. Mom and Dad work from inside the home. They have a sweet 20lb hypoallergenic Bernedoodle. Please be comfortable taking the dog on walks with their children.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development philosophies and upcoming infant and toddler milestones but is also willing to adapt with whichever style the parents decide to utilize or blend. The ideal candidate will be calm, warm, organized, highly competent, intelligent, patient, a great communicator, able to read a room, comfortable with feedback, and have a strong work ethic. They would like a nanny who loves to be active and engaging in creating age-appropriate activities both indoors and outdoors. A nanny who is comfortable in social settings and can eventually take their children to age-appropriate classes is required. Someone who can keep the children’s sleeping and play areas clean and tidy, and take care of their children’s laundry, grocery shopping, and other household errands would be the perfect combination of skills! The perfect candidate will be travel-ready for both domestic and international trips! A nanny who has a background as a preschool or elementary school teacher would be a huge bonus!
Job Synopsis: Enjoy your days following a routine with the sweetest children on the block! Duties for this position include doing the laundry and dishes for the children, and keeping their rooms tidy, organized, and restocked. Please be comfortable caring for their canine companion. Occasional grocery and other household errands will be required to assist the family. The schedule for this position is Friday through Tuesday, 8 am-6 pm, with a guarantee of 40 hours per week, with travel, overnights, and occasional 24/7 support. This role is paying $40-45/hour plus overtime, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a $500 medical stipend. Please be extremely flexible for the schedule to change, occasional overnights, and travel.
