Family Syllabus: This lovely family of three in Santa Clarita, CA is looking for an educated nanny who specializes in preschool and elementary learning! They have a sweet 4-year-old son who has a pediatric autoimmune disorder. This has caused separation anxiety and currently keeps him from attending in-person school. He is an active boy who loves soccer and to get up and move around. He enjoys the outdoors and learning through play. He loves to go hiking and explore nature. He is all boy and loves dinosaurs and trucks. He loves to laugh and engage in imaginative play. Both mom and dad work from inside the home, and the family has two sweet dogs!
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is super flexible, proactive, excellent at organization, and has a passion for teaching. A nanny with a can-do attitude, who is energetic and observant would be perfect for this family. They would love to find a nanny who is creative and thinks that no job is too big or too small. If you are a natural-born leader who loves to be one step ahead, you’d work great with this family! A nanny who is firm but loving with boundaries and encourages their son to be present in his day-to-day activities is ideal. They would adore a nanny who is bubbly, fun, knowledgeable, and active! A nanny who is experienced with children with behavioral challenges or knowledge of PANS/ PANDAS would be a huge plus. A nanny who can think quickly on their feet and divert their son when he is having an outburst. A college degree is required for this role.
Job Synopsis: This sweet family needs an empathetic and intelligent planner who can take charge of their household organization while at the same time, helping care for their son and keeping him on track academically. Duties related to this position will include coming up with educational activities, taking our son to different activities outside of the home, reading to their son, taking the dogs on walks, stocking the pantry, food/meal prep, cleaning their child’s play areas, picking up the dry cleaning, planning the family calendar, planning appointments, and other household errands. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 9 am-5 pm with flexibility for one later shift a week. They would like a nanny who is open to occasional overnights and travel. The pay for this role is $40-$45/hour gross, with paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a medical stipend. A nanny vehicle will be provided for this role while working.
