Family Syllabus: A delightful family of four in Encino, California, seeks a warm and capable individual to join their household team. They have two young children: a curious and joyful three-and-a-half-year-old daughter who attends school Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 4:45 pm, and a sweet five-month-old son. The primary focus of this role will be caring for their infant son. The family also has two friendly dogs, so comfort around canine companions is essential.
Ideal Candidate: This family seeks a highly adaptable and experienced nanny to care for their two young children. Given the family’s dynamic work in the entertainment industry, schedule flexibility is essential. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of infant and toddler development, expertise in sleep training techniques, and the ability to prepare nutritious meals for young children. They will be proactive in creating and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities. Punctuality and reliability are highly valued. This individual will also be organized and take initiative in maintaining tidy play areas and managing the children’s laundry. While formal education is appreciated, a demonstrated depth of knowledge and experience in childcare is paramount. A reliable vehicle and a clean driving record are required for this position. Please be comfortable swimming as the family has a pool.
Job Synopsis: This position offers a wonderful opportunity to contribute to a warm and busy family environment. Responsibilities include maintaining organized and clean play areas for the children, managing their laundry, and preparing nutritious and appealing meals. Occasionally, care for the family’s two dogs, including letting the dogs out and feeding, may be requested. The family also appreciates assistance with occasional errands and other light family support duties as needed.
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Flexibility is appreciated for occasional date nights, overnights, and possible travel with the family both domestically and internationally. Compensation for this role is $40-43 per hour, and includes paid sick days and paid vacation time.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who has the COVID, TDAP, MMR, and seasonal flu vaccines.

Qualifications:
Five years of professional nanny experience
CPR/first aid certification
