Family Syllabus: A warm and welcoming family of five is excited to find a dedicated, nurturing full-time nanny to become an integral part of their household. You’ll be caring for three wonderful children, a bright 5-year-old girl, a curious 3-year-old boy, and a sweet 21-month-old boy, in a home that values respect, connection, and child-led learning. This family is seeking a nanny who understands the RIE philosophy, enjoys fostering independence, setting gentle and consistent boundaries, and building meaningful relationships with children. Both parents work in and out of the home and truly value teamwork, open communication, and a harmonious partnership with their nanny, extended family, and household staff.

Ideal Candidate: The parents’ ideal nanny would be a grounded, RIE-educated professional who views their three children as capable, unique individuals and approaches every interaction with “educaring” intentionality. Operating with high-level discretion in this busy, high-profile home, you will prioritize authentic observation and uninterrupted play, creating a safe, predictable environment where even the youngest child is encouraged to be an active participant in their own care.
They would like a nanny who enjoys preparing nutritious meals and naturally involves the children in the kitchen to foster a healthy relationship with food. Someone who is experienced with gentle, consistent boundaries and possesses the emotional maturity to remain a “calm anchor” for the family while managing the transitions of a multi-child household or occasionally preparing a healthy dinner for the entire family. The parents seek a dedicated collaborator who champions the RIE philosophy as a lifestyle, ensuring that each child feels deeply respected, well-nourished, and supported in their natural development. Please be able to swim and be mindful of water safety, as the family has a pool.
Job Synopsis: Spend your days with three of the sweetest children, fostering independence, preparing healthy organic children’s meals, tidying the children’s sleep and play areas, maintaining the children’s laundry, and working as a team with mom and dad would be an incredible asset to the family. The general schedule for this position is Monday-Friday between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm for 8-hour days with the flexibility to shift hours when needed, work some Sundays, occasional overnights, and travel with the family both domestically and internationally. The family will guarantee 40 hours per week, and flexibility is key! This role pays $40-$45 per hour, plus overtime, with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays. Please have a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle. The family will provide a nanny vehicle while the nanny is working.

Five years of professional nanny experience
RIE training and experience
CPR/first aid certification
