Family Syllabus: An active family of four, soon to be five, in Santa Monica is looking for a Nanny to join the team! They are currently staying in Santa Barbara while they look for a new home in Santa Monica. Their 2-year-old and 4-year-old are highly verbal and expressive. They love to have dance parties and play together. The parents occasionally work from inside the home and they have a housekeeper who will handle all of the deep cleaning. Their children attend a preschool nearby from 8:45am-1:45pm. Their newest addition is due in April 2025. This family has several pets, including dogs and a cat. Please be an animal lover.
Ideal Candidate: This family is seeking a warm and passionate nanny who is also sophisticated and knowledgeable in child-development. A nanny who is fun-loving, energetic, and highly organized nanny to join their family and care for their sweet young children. The ideal candidate is incredibly flexible and proactive, and believes no job is too big or too small. Days will be filled with active play, engaging activities tailored to each child’s developmental stage, and plenty of floor-time cuddles. These hands-on parents deeply value gentle parenting approaches and seek a nanny who is comfortable collaborating with the parents to set clear expectations and boundaries. Please be confident caring for both infants and toddlers. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential, as this family believes in working together as a team to provide the best possible care for their children.
Job Synopsis: Duties related to this position will include food prep, cleaning the children’s play areas, taking care of the children’s laundry, picking up the dry cleaning and other household errands, and driving the children to and from school and other activities. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 10 am-6pm with the flexibility to work date nights, overnights, and occasionally travel with the family. The rate for this role is $40-45/hour gross with benefits such as paid time off, holidays, and sick days. A nanny vehicle will be provided while working.

Qualifications:
Five years of professional nanny experience
CPR/first aid certification
