Family Syllabus: A very loving family in Hancock Park is looking for an amazing career nanny who is organized, patient, and safety conscious to help take care of their two precious children, ages 3 years old and 2 months old. They would like someone who can engage their older child with fun, educational, outside-the-box activities, including outdoor play, scavenger hunts, and creative activities. A nanny that likes to prepare and cook healthy options for children and can get a 3 year old excited to eat nutritious food would be wonderful. They would also like a nanny with strong infant experience, knowledge of how infant growth and stages change within the daily routine, and recognition of sleep cues. Their older child attends a toddler program in the mornings and both parents currently work from the home.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is experienced with infants and toddlers, a self-starter, problem solver, respectful, reliable, and enjoys caring for multiple children. Nannies who have experience with RIE, Montessori or Waldorf practices and an understanding of the respectful parenting approach would fit right in with this family. The family is seeking a nanny that has a fun and playful side who is comfortable giving children freedoms within the routine. Their ideal nanny enjoys coming up with age-appropriate activities that are educational, creative, outdoorsy, and thought stimulating. A nanny that has experience working with multiples and has a knowledge of infants, early childhood education, development, and milestones is key. An active nanny that speaks a second language is encouraged to apply! Nannies will be asked to help out with child-related tidying around the home, occasional errands, and helping out with the family dogs. A college degree is not required for this position.
Job Synopsis: Additional duties include children’s laundry, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, tidying up of the children’s areas, dishes, and child-related kitchen cleanup. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8 am – 6 pm with flexibility. This role is paying $35-40/hour gross plus overtime, and the family is offering 10 days of paid vacation, holidays, sick days and they are open to discussing a medical stipend. Some overnights, while the parents are traveling, will be required. Please be travel-ready as the family would like to take the nanny with them 1-4 weeks at a time when it is safe to do so. Please also have a clean, reliable vehicle and experience driving children as you will transport them to and from school.
COVID Requirements: Please be taking COVID seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines. This family is requesting a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated and boosted.

Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of full-time professional nanny experience
