Family Syllabus: A loving and laid-back family located in Hancock Park is seeking an energetic full-time nanny for their two children ages four years old and three months old. The four-year-old loves to read, play with dinosaurs, and loves to build. He also has a cute sense of humor and a sensitive soul. Their daughter is darling and super aware of her environment. Mom and dad will both be working inside and outside of the home at this time. Their four-year-old son will be attending school nearby Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-5:00 pm, so someone who is extremely confident caring for newborns and infants is a must. Please be comfortable with pets as the family has one small dog however, the nanny will not be responsible for pet care at this time.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate will be positive, nurturing, and a team player. Parents would love a nanny who speaks fluent Spanish. Nannies who are extremely compassionate, active, and highly detail-oriented will thrive in this role. Someone who is open to assisting with infant sleep training, meal preparation, and supporting the appropriate developmental activities would be ideal. A college degree is preferred, but not required.
Job Synopsis: The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-7:00 pm. The hourly rate for this job is $25-$30/hour gross with overtime ($37.50/45.00), paid sick days and paid vacation days. No travel or overnights will be required. Please have a clean and reliable vehicle and a clean driving record. The family does have a housekeeper but would like a nanny to assist with duties such as children’s laundry, bottle cleaning, and pumping parts. The light housekeeping will be all child-related.
COVID requirements: Please be taking COVID extremely seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines. The family requires Tdap, MMR, flu, and COVID vaccines. The nanny must also wear a mask inside of the home.
