Family Syllabus: A fantastic family in Hollywood Hills is looking for a top career nanny/family assistant to help care for their three inquisitive, funny children ages 14, 11, and 6 who love to cook, play piano, and are super active. These awesome children are creative, intelligent and a joy to be around. The family is excited to collaborate with a nanny who is a team player, reliable, proactive, and is willing to take charge of the day-to-day duties, collaborating with the assistant and housekeeper to keep everything running smoothly. The children will be in school part of the day and the family would like a candidate that is willing to run errands, help with tutoring, and be able to anticipate and take care of the needs of the family. Please love pets as the family has a dog, cats, chickens, koi fish, and will occasionally need them to be taken to the groomers, vet, etc. The parents work both in and out of the home. The family would like a candidate that is able to travel as needed for 3 weeks at a time or stay behind and manage the household and pets while they travel. The family has an Executive Assistant and a full-time live-in housekeeper for this family. Please note they do keep a Kosher kitchen and they have a swimming pool so you must be able to swim.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is a team player, smart, self-starter, who is very responsible, capable of wearing many hats, and loves to take initiative and pitch in when needed. They are looking for a take-charge candidate that is personable, reliable and enjoys engaging with elementary-age children. Nannies that are highly organized and great with time management would be appreciated. Candidates that have a fondness for educational activities and enjoy tutoring and helping with homework are encouraged to apply. The parents are seeking a nanny who is a strong communicator and is a safe driver with a clean driving record. A nanny vehicle will be provided by the family. A college degree is preferred but not required.
Job Synopsis: Please be open to transporting children home from school, doing dishes, all child-related tasks, running errands, and being a total team player. The schedule for this position will vary with general hours Mon-Fri from 11 am – 7 pm. This role is paying $35/hour gross with 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 sick days per year, and paid holidays. The family is willing to pay up to $40/hour for candidates who have 10 years of nanny experience and/or a college degree in child development or education, and full flexibility. This position also includes medical and dental insurance. Overnights and travel will be required. Candidates for this position must be available to travel from early July through mid October to Greece and Australia.
