Huntington Beach: Part-Time Nanny *Position Filled*

Family Syllabus: A delightful family located in beautiful Huntington Beach is searching for an exceptional nanny to join their home and help their three-year-old son thrive. Their son was previously enrolled in preschool prior to COVID and misses the routine and socialization that preschool offers. The family has a swimming pool and the nanny will need to swim. Both parents work from home and one of the parents will work outside of the home.

Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, fun, calm, kind, yet firm and great at setting boundaries for toddlers, and an expert at potty training! The family is looking for someone that can implement fun activities, games, and educational lessons in lieu of the preschool atmosphere. A nanny with an educational background or preschool experience, with knowledge of social-emotional development, would be great! Duties will include children’s laundry, tidying up the home areas, and healthy meal prep. Nannies who have extensive experience and are fun and creative with potty training would be ideal. Please be comfortable around pets, as the family has an adorable small dog.

Job Synopsis: They are flexible and open to discussing the schedule, as it will primarily be Monday-Friday, 30 hours a week.  No overnights or travel would be required. The hourly rate will be between $25-30/hour gross. No driving will be needed, but if the nanny does need to drive they will provide a nanny vehicle.  A college degree is preferred, but not required.

Roll Call: This fun opportunity starts on September 8th and will last until December, with a possible option of extending.
