Family Syllabus: This wonderful family from Beverly Hills is spending a month in Laguna Beach and looking for a Governess to join their team for the summer! They will be in Laguna Beach until July 15th, and back in Beverly Hills where the job will take place until August 10th. They have a sweet 7-year-old daughter who loves to swim, play piano and do yoga. This family prioritizes wellness and health as well as manners! This is a fully staffed home including security, a household manager, a chef, a driver, and a housekeeper. The family also has a German Shepherd who will not require any care.
Ideal Candidate: The dream person for this role is a nanny who has teaching experience, has a sweet demeanor, and is super flexible. If you are able to be discreet and pivot at a moment’s notice, you’d work great in this home! A strong leader and confident person who is open-minded and excellent at staying focused and on-task would be a perfect fit for this family. Experience working with children who need extra support with speech or special needs would be ideal. Bonus if you speak Spanish or Arabic! Please be open to traveling with the family over the summer. The family has a pool and swimming will be required. The family is open to having the Governess live inside their home during their time in Laguna Beach. Job Synopsis: The family would love it if the Governess could keep their daughter organized to help her be set up for success each day as she is in many activities. There will be no cooking involved, but the Governess will be in charge of making sure the staff creates healthy balanced meals with no sugar intake. The schedule for this position is Monday -Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. This position is paying $55-75+/ hour gross DOE with paid sick time. This highest rate is reserved for candidates with speech or special needs backgrounds. The Governess will be responsible for teaching and tutoring reading and math, and creating educational activities.
Vaccination Requirements: This family prefers vaccinated candidates, but they are open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated candidates.

Qualifications:
Five years of nanny, Governess, and/or Private Educator professional experience
CPR/first aid certification
Excellent verifiable references
