Family Syllabus: A fantastic family of four, located in Mid-City, is looking for their ideal nanny to join their home and help care for their two adorable children who are 3 and 1 years old. Their children are sweet, high-energy, active, and a joy to be around. Their oldest child will be attending a Reggio school in the fall from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm. Both parents work from home and the family has 1 cat and 1 dog (who spends her days at daycare).
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is a nanny who has extensive toddler experience and is well-versed in milestones and early childhood development. This family would love a nanny who is accustomed to wearing many hats in the home and can jump right in when needed. Candidates who have a fun and playful side, love to engage the children with indoor and outdoor activities, and are active, will be a great fit! Nannies who are engaging and hands-on, yet calm and patient when working with the children at the same time would be ideal. They are looking for someone with an open mind and a gentle, curious approach to children who has a background or interest in child development would be ideal. They need a nanny who is progressive and inclusive, and comfortable navigating children who are exploring gender identity. A college degree is preferred but not required.
Job Synopsis: Additional tasks will include light cleaning, preparing healthy meals for children, tidying up after the meal, and play areas. Meal prep/cooking would also be a huge bonus for this family! However, it is not required. The schedule is 25 hrs per week and the schedule can be flexible! Wahoo! The parents are open to M,W,F 9 am-4 pm or M-F 9 am-1 pm and they would like some date nights here and there. As long as you can offer some morning hours, that is what the family will prefer! The rate is $25-$30/hour gross with 2 weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, and sick days. Pretty awesome for a part-time job! No overnights or travel will be needed at this time. Please be a safe and reliable driver as a nanny vehicle will be provided while at work.
COVID requirements: Please be taking COVID extremely seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines. The family is requesting a nanny who is vaccinated.

Qualifications:
Three years of professional nanny experience
CPR/first aid
