Local Seasoned 24/7 ROTA Nanny in West Los Angeles, CA *Position Filled*

Family Syllabus: This loving and dynamic family in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced and energetic ROTA nanny to join their team and provide exceptional care for their wonderful boys, who are 6 and 7.5. Some supervision will also be needed for their teenage son during your rotation on a Friday or Saturday night. The parents are both professionals who balance working inside and outside of the home, and they value a nanny who can adapt to their rhythm, communicate openly, and provide a seamless flow to the household. They also have a family dog. 

The family enjoys traveling 3–4 times per year and would love for their nannies to accompany them on these exciting trips, ensuring consistency and comfort for the children while away from home. This is a fully staffed residence with a supportive team environment, so the ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a collaborative setting. You should feel confident working alongside Mom and other household staff while maintaining a proactive, professional, and positive approach.

The ideal candidate will also be an excellent swimmer and comfortable joining the family on their travels several times a year. Most of the time will be spent inside the home, so it’s important that the nanny feels content in a home-based role. This arrangement may evolve over time as comfort levels change. A college degree is strongly preferred but not required. Job Synopsis: Spend your days caring for the boys, meeting with the ROTA nanny team, and reading notes to get caught up for your transition, organizing children’s clothing, managing emails and appointments, and adding things to the calendar. Additional duties include preparing healthy snacks, meal prep, packing lunches, laundry related to the children, and keeping the children’s play areas clean and tidy. Please be willing to lend a hand if needed with additional tidying. 

The schedule for this position is rotational for 1 week on and off at a time, with 24/7 shifts during the rotation. The pay for this role is a target salary of $150k with paid sick days, paid vacation, medical, dental, and vision, and 401(k). The family also provides a work phone. There will be no driving required for this role as the family has a team of security drivers. The family is not open to candidates who fly in and out for their shifts. The family is open to seasoned candidates who have high-profile experience, live-in experience, or extensive overnights. They prefer nannies to have ROTA experience working 12-24/hour shifts.

Vaccination Requirements: Please be willing to take a Covid test at the start of each week shift if requested.

Qualifications:

Five years of professional nanny experience

At least one year of prior 12-24/hr ROTA experience

Travel experience
