Family Syllabus: The family is an active, professional, social justice-oriented couple looking for an amazing nanny/family assistant to spend their days with their sweet infant son! The parents work from inside and outside the home. Their infant son loves to be read to, smiles and coos when spoken to and loves playtime on his activity mat with a caregiver by his side.
Ideal Candidate: This family’s ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development and upcoming infant milestones. Ideal qualities of the candidate are organized, highly competent, intelligent, patient, kind and compassionate. Good communicator, natural problem solver, collaborative and proactive yet able to follow direction and integrate feedback. A nanny who is creative with age-appropriate activities, sleep and feeding schedules for an infant, and confident in running errands with an infant in tow. A nanny who is proactive, communicative and can read the room of when to jump in and out would be the perfect fit! Assisting with light housekeeping, keeping the child’s sleeping and play areas clean and tidy, and meal prepping for the family would be the perfect combination of skills!
Job Synopsis: The schedule for this position is mostly Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm, with a need for flexibility to shift hours and/or stay late once or twice a week. This role is paying $30-35/hour gross. Overnights will not be required. Please be ready to travel occasionally for up to two weeks with this awesome family! A vehicle will be provided for the nanny to use during working hours. Some of the job duties include providing care for their infant son, including making time for activities and engagement throughout the day, bath time and nail clipping, and other infant care, providing support with day-to-day household operations, including buying groceries and other household shopping; running errands; arranging home maintenance and repairs; keeping the house neat and organized (family has a long-time house cleaner who comes bi-weekly), preparing lunch 1-2 times a week and dinner 1-2 times a week, occasionally assisting with planning dinners, parties or other social events at the house. The nanny/family assistant must be able to work occasional evenings, and travel and must be able to have some flexibility with the schedule, including weekends.
Vaccination Requirements: This family is requesting a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated and boosted.
