Family Syllabus: A fantastic and creative family of four, located near Griffith Park in Los Feliz, is looking for their ideal nanny to join their home and help care for their two adorable children, nearly 3 years old and 6 months. Their toddler is inquisitive, active, and a joy to be around. They are looking for a candidate that can help balance two children, along with supporting this busy household. Mom and dad also love to be hands-on and would like a nanny who loves to work alongside the family. Both parents are currently working from home, but mom will be working outside of the home in the near future.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is able to carry a 40-pound toddler, is accustomed to wearing many hats in the home, and can jump right in when needed. Candidates that have a fun and playful side, love to engage the children with indoor and outdoor activities, and can help both the children with social/emotional development would be wonderful. Flexibility and communication will be key, along with understanding each child’s personality while being sensitive to their needs. Spanish-speaking nannies are encouraged to apply, as the family would love to incorporate this into their children’s routine! The ideal nanny is playful, honest, open to communication, and has a love of music, or is musically inclined! A nanny who is active and can keep up with their energetic toddler is a must! If you have experience in early childhood education and development would be a huge plus! A college degree is preferred but not required.
Job Synopsis: Additional tasks include light housework such as laundry, dishes, cooking, grocery shopping, etc. Being extremely flexible will be key for this role! The typical schedule for this opportunity will be Monday – Friday 9 am- 5 pm, and the family would like flexibility with bedtime/night help. The hourly rate for this job will be $25-$32/ hour gross with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays and a monthly medical stipend. There will be no overnights or travel required at this time, but there may be future travel opportunities for nannies who are interested in traveling with the family. The nanny must be a safe driver and a nanny vehicle will be provided during your shift. Please note, this family is requesting someone who will not wear perfume on the job.
COVID requirements: Please be taking COVID extremely seriously, wearing a mask in public, and following all CDC guidelines. The family is requesting a nanny who is fully vaccinated: MMR, Tdap, annual flu, and COVID-19.
