Family Syllabus: An amazing and musical family located in Los Feliz, is looking for their ideal nanny to join their home and help care for their two adorable boys, ages almost 3 and one year old. Their older child is inquisitive, active, a joy to be around, and attends school two days a week. The youngest is happy, healthy, and taking in everything around him as he learns and grows. The family is looking for a proactive nanny who is thoughtful and familiar with the respectful approach to parenting.
Ideal Candidate: Their ideal candidate is a self-starter, respectful, reliable, problem solver, and enjoys working with a toddler and an infant. Nannies with strong knowledge and experience with traditional RIE or Montessori practices and an understanding of the respectful parenting approach would fit right in with this family. The family is seeking a nanny that has a fun and playful side who is comfortable giving children freedoms within the routine. A nanny that has experience working with multiples and has a knowledge of early childhood education, development, and milestones is key. The ideal candidate is very well-versed with Janet Lansbury and healthy eating habits. An active nanny who can keep up with an energetic toddler is a must! Nannies that enjoy helping out with child-related tidying around the home, occasional errands, and helping out with the family dog are encouraged to apply. A college degree is required for this position.
Job Synopsis: The schedule for this role is 40 hours a week. The typical schedule could be Mon/Tues: 10-6:30 pm and Wed/Th/Fri from 9-6 pm with flexibility, a 4 day per week work week, rotational or a schedule to be agreed upon for the perfect top-notch nanny. This role is paying $35-40/hour gross with paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays and a monthly medical stipend. This family is willing to go up to $125K for the right qualified person! No overnights will be required for this position. Some travel may be requested by the family so please be open to this. A vehicle will be provided while on duty.
