Family Syllabus: A relaxed and positive family in Malibu is looking for a like-minded nanny to help care for their two adorable boys, ages 6 and 4, and their 8-month-old baby girl. Both boys currently attend school and most of the care will be for their infant. This wonderful laid-back family enjoys hanging out by the pool and going for a swim or being outdoors with their two sweet, wonderful dogs! Mom and dad occasionally work from home.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of children’s milestones and background or knowledge in child development. Someone who enjoys making creative and healthy meals for the children is preferred. Candidates that are fantastic tutors and homework helpers are encouraged to apply! Nannies that are extremely compassionate, physically active, and highly detail-oriented will thrive in this role. Nannies must be strong swimmers and enjoy swimming with children, as the family has a pool. The family would love to incorporate a second language into the home, preferably Spanish, but they are open to hiring a nanny who only speaks English fluently. Nannies that don’t mind running errands or handling personal assisting tasks would be fantastic. A college degree is preferred but not required. The family would like to hire a nanny who has recent infant experience in the last three years and they travel to South Africa so the nanny must be passport ready.
Job Synopsis: The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 7:45 am to 5/5:30 pm with some flexibility. The hourly rate for this job will be $35-$40 an hour gross with overtime, paid vacation, holidays, and a $400 medical stipend. Additional tasks include feeding the dogs twice a day, children’s laundry, general light tidying of the house and kitchen, grocery shopping, running errands, taking the dogs to the groomers, and keeping the boys’ rooms tidy and organized. Flexibility will be key for this role as the family would love a nanny that is open to occasional overnights and traveling domestically and internationally.
COVID requirements: The family requests that all nannies have MMR, Tdap, annual flu shot as well as be fully COVID vaccinated.
