Family Syllabus: This caring and professional family of four in Mar Vista has a bright 11-year-old girl, an easygoing 8-year-old boy, and a precious hypoallergenic dog. They are looking for a fantastic nanny to support their family. Both parents work from inside the home.
Ideal Candidate: This loving family highly values punctuality, consistency, and reliability. This family’s ideal candidate would be comfortable helping with homework after school if the children need help and is organized, able to prioritize tasks, detail-oriented, resourceful, loving, and flexible. Their perfect nanny would take a kind, firm, and calm approach with their children and is proactive with the family’s needs. Please be comfortable transporting children to and from activities and have a go-with-the-flow attitude.
Job Synopsis: This family’s nanny must be comfortable running errands and assisting with light household duties in the home. This may include washing and putting away the children’s laundry, organizing their closets, toys, books, and bedrooms, as well as washing dishes, taking out the trash, and occasionally helping with the lovable family dog. Their sweet dog may require potty breaks, trips to the groomer, short walks around the neighborhood, and cleaning up the backyard. Their daughter is allergic to bee stings so the nanny must be comfortable using an epi-pen in the event of an emergency. The schedule for this position is Mon-Friday from 3 pm – 7 pm with the flexibility to stay later for events and date nights. They would also love to have some extra help on some Saturday evenings. This role is paying $40/hour gross with paid vacation, and sick days. This position does not require a college degree. Please have a clean, reliable vehicle to transport the children to activities and run errands.
