Mar Vista: Part-time or Full-time Nanny *Position Filled*

Family Syllabus: A terrific family in Mar Vista is seeking a part-time or full-time nanny to care for their 3 boys, ages 4 and 19-month-old twins. These parents are looking for a positive, attentive and responsible nanny who is comfortable caring for high-energy boys. Both parents work from home and the children attend school during the week. This family is easy going, creative, loves music, and enjoys the outdoors! Mom and dad want a rockstar full-charge nanny! They also have a family dog, so please love dogs.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has great communication skills, a positive attitude, knowledge of child development, experience with twins, and a college degree. A nanny who is imaginative, creative, loves books, arts and crafts, legos, and heading to the park! They would love a nanny who is proactive, self-motivated, can cook/bake, and is an excellent swimmer. Someone who is progressive, inclusive, aware, and compassionate will be a great match for this family! The family has a tight-knit group of friends with kids the same age and would love a friendly nanny who can do play dates on her own. The perfect fit for this position will be flexible with their hours and open to occasional overnights and travel. A kind nanny who is willing to do light housework and assist with household errands would make this family sing from the roof-tops! Previous experience with toddlers, potty training, and preschool activities would help you thrive in this role. Job Synopsis: Additional duties include cleaning up and organizing the children’s rooms and playroom, children’s laundry, cooking and packing lunches, dinner, and snacks, periodically cleaning toys, and keeping the kitchen and common areas tidy, and transporting children to activities. They would like a nanny who is open to helping with running errands like, grocery shopping, getting birthday gifts, and can feed and pick up after the dog. The family is open to hiring a part-time or full-time nanny. The schedule is Mon-Thurs 1 pm -7 pm and Friday 12 pm -7 pm. and the family is willing to offer up to 40 hours per week. The rate is $25 – $35/ hour gross and they are offering 2 weeks of vacation time and paid sick days. They will be providing a nanny vehicle, so please be a safe and reliable driver.
